Are you alone in trying out SNOB? (No, you aren't. Here are some users and what they are using SNOB for.)

Of course, you don't know. (Well, you know now.) Anyway, this page shows how many times SNOB has been downloaded. I shall be updating this page about once a month, and give you some statistics on SNOB downloads. In the meantime, join the SNOB Wiki Community.

The next table shows the number of independant IP-numbers in the world and per country (IHTSDO members are marked by a different background color) that downloaded a version of SNOB starting from September 2007. This may underestimate the number of actual users, because multiple people may be behind the same IP number, for example when they are members of the same institution, or are using the same Internet Service Provider.

How many of the people that downloaded a copy are actually using SNOB? Once a week, SNOB checks if there is an update available, the last columns Active users in the table shows the (total) number of update checks from each country during the previous twelve months. This may underestimate the number of active users because of firewall policies, still the numbers are in accordance with expectation. That is, only a small number of people/institutions in the world is actually using SNOB and/or is interested in the inner depths of SNOMED.
