SNOB - A SNOMED Browser
Settings
MetaModel
After selecting a valid Meta Model file, SNOB automatically loads this file on start-up.
Show allowable relationships for a concept
When this option is checked, SNOB displays the allowable relationships according to the Meta Model for the selected concept.
Check relationships against MetaModel and display failing relationships with another background color
When this option is checked, SNOB checks each relationship against the allowed relationships in the Meta Model and displays failing relationships (i.e. relationships that are not allowed according to the Meta Model) with user-defined background color.
Sanity checks
When you add your own concepts to SNOMED CT and don't use a classifier (as for instance NHS), you can use these Sanity checks to check for errors.
Display non-inherited defining relationships
A concept should inherit all defining relationships of its parents. When this option is checked, SNOB displays non-inherited defining relationships with a different background colour.
Display problems with inactive concepts
The status of inactive concepts should be in accordance with its parent. Also an inactive concept may only have historical relationships. This option checks for inconsistencies at inactive concepts.
