Default Cache Directory
Here you can enter the name for the directory that SNOB should use to store local copies of files that are downloaded from the internet and referenced in decorations linked to concepts. Default this is a sub-directory cache in SNOB's home directory.
Separating characters for indexing process
These are the characters that SNOB uses to extract the index terms from the descriptions. The index terms are used to create the search index and to retrieve concepts during a search.
Treat numerical digits as separating characters (i.e. ignore digits)
When this option is checked, SNOB treats numerical digits as separating characters during indexing and searching.
Only index active concepts, ignore retired concepts
When this option is checked, SNOB only indexes active concepts (i.e. concepts with status Current (0), Limited (6), or pending move (11)).
Stopwords
During indexing SNOB uses a list of stopwords, which are ignored and thus not added to the search index. Usually, these are words like and, the, etcetera. Here you can specify the file name of the stopwords file.
Seconds to wait before starting search
When you have checked the automagically search option, SNOB waits a user-defined number of seconds before actually starting the search process (default 1 second). When you are a slow typist, consider increasing this number.
Your official namespace identifier
If you have an official namespace identifier, you can enter it here. This identifier will then be used when you add a description or subset.
