Post-coordinate

A SNOMED CT concept may be used as a template for a new concept. The qualifying and defining relationships of the concept define what can be said about the new concept. If you have opened a meta model, the sanctions in the meta model can be used to add criteria to a post-coordinated concept.

Press this button (or F9) to open an interface to define a post-coordinated concept.

You can also add criteria derived from sanctions in the meta model. For example, below a post-coordinated concept of 64375000 Acute laryngotracheitis with the causative agent is defined.
