If you are looking for a small and free SNOMED browser for your desktop, you have come to the right place. Just download SNOB, and import the SNOMED Tabular Tables into a SNOB database.

SNOB version 2 is something more than just a SNOMED browser. You can now edit existing descriptions, add new descriptions, export the content to file, import files in the new planned Enhanced Release Format, import multiple releases of SNOMED into the same database, and see a changelog for each concept. SNOB supports a multi-lingual user interface. SNOB uses a lexicon to improve search results and translate descriptions to other languages. (Here is an example.)
